Why it matters
Thunder Rooster is the highest-DPS fighting breed we've confirmed. If you hatch one, it jumps straight into your PIT slot and becomes the backbone of your TOWER push. See where it ranks on the full tier list and how it fits the best fighting breeds setup.

How to get the Thunder Rooster
The Thunder Rooster hatches from a Thunder Egg. That egg has roughly a 1% Mythic hatch rate, which makes it the realistic top-tier chase. The LETMECOOK code grants a free Thunder Egg, so your first shot costs you nothing but the redemption.

The Thunder Egg pool is the main documented route to the Mythic Thunder Rooster.
Keep farming the pool
A 1% Mythic rate means most players hatch many Thunder Eggs before the Rooster appears. Duplicates still feed fusion — a strong trait rolled on a duplicate is worth locking onto your base.
How to build around it
When the Rooster lands, follow the beginner loop but slot it as your permanent PIT fighter. Upgrade the feeder and recycler to multiply income while it fights, then push the TOWER on 2x boost windows. Once clears slow down, rebirth to keep the bonus compounding.
Common questions
Is Thunder Rooster better than 404 Chicken? Both are S-tier. Thunder Rooster has the documented hatch route; 404 Chicken is a Secret-rarity draw with no published odds, so it's rarer but less obtainable. If you have both, build around whichever has the better traits.
Do I need the Rooster to win? No. A-tier staples like Astro Chicken carry most rosters fine. The Rooster is the ceiling, not the floor.

Making the 1% chase productive
A 1% Mythic rate means the hunt itself has to earn its keep. The Thunder Egg pool is the only documented route, so treat every hatch as either a step toward the Rooster or donor material: keep hatching on cooldown rather than hoarding eggs, and spend them during boost windows so the surrounding Cash income rises while you chase. The players who land a Rooster fastest are not the luckiest — they are the ones who stayed in the pool and kept the rest of their economy compounding in the background the whole time.
