Golden rule: upgrade multipliers before you buy eggs
Feeder rate and recycler efficiency multiply every piece of corn and egg income. A single expensive egg is almost always the worse first buy.
- Redeem codes first. Claim LETMECOOK and SERGIOVERSE for free Cash, boosts and starter eggs before spending earned currency.
- Compound feeder & recycler. Invest early income into the multiplier chains, not single eggs.
- Keep PIT uptime at 100%. Your strongest roosters earn background Cash while fighting — combine with 2x boost windows.
- Rebirth on the wall. When TOWER floor pace crawls, reset for a permanent bonus and race back past it. Track the trend in the resource calculator.
The three income streams
“Make money” sounds like one job, but your Cash comes from three sources that behave differently, and knowing which is lagging tells you exactly what to upgrade next.
- PIT payouts. The most direct stream: your strongest fighters earn Cash in the background, scaling with their attack. This is why slotting your best roosters in the PIT matters more than their rarity.
- Feeder, corn and recycler multipliers. These raise the value of every egg and every piece of corn you produce — they are multipliers on the whole economy, not a flat bonus. Upgrading them compounds; buying a single egg does not.
- Offline production. Chickens keep laying while you are away, so a well-set coop earns overnight. Any passive that raises laying is effectively free income you collect each morning.
What to upgrade first
When income feels slow, resist the urge to buy a big egg. Ask instead which of the three streams is the bottleneck. If your PIT payout is small, your fighters are under-levelled for the slotted role. If your corn or egg output dominates but Cash is still tight, the multiplier chain (feeder and recycler) is the lever. And if you log in each day to an empty coop, your offline production is under-invested. Fix the bottleneck rather than adding one more expensive gamble.
The order that works for most players is: redeem free code boosts, compound the multiplier chain, keep the PIT full, and only then spend on eggs toward a specific goal — a fusion donor or a better carry. Use the resource calculator to check that a purchase will not stall your upgrade momentum.
Common money mistakes
- Buying eggs before multipliers. An egg is a one-off; a feeder upgrade raises every future payout.
- Letting the PIT sit half full. Empty PIT slots are income you are throwing away, especially during a boost.
- Ignoring offline time. The cheapest income in the game is the production that accrues while you sleep — invest in it.
- Spending the reserve. Emptying your balance slows the next upgrade, which slows the balance after that.
Reading your farm at a glance
You do not need a spreadsheet to diagnose a slow farm. Three quick checks tell you almost everything. First, look at your PIT: if the slots are not full of your highest-attack birds, that is free income you are leaving behind, and it is the fix most people miss. Second, look at your multiplier chain — if feeder and recycler levels have not moved in a while while your egg spending has, you have been buying one-offs instead of compounding. Third, look at what greets you when you return after a break: a healthy account has a stack of offline production waiting, while a stalled one has almost nothing. Whatever that third check shows is usually the stream to invest in next.
Frequently asked questions
What is the fastest way to earn Cash? Keep the PIT earning with your best attackers while a 2x Money boost is active, and reinvest immediately into the feeder/recycler multiplier chain.
Should I hatch eggs or sell them? It depends on your goal. Hatch toward a specific need (a donor or carry) and sell or recycle surplus rather than stockpiling aimlessly.
Do I earn anything while offline? Yes — your coop keeps laying. Maximise laying passives and check the offline income guide for the setup.
