1. Read the reset panel first
Open the rebirth panel and read two numbers: the permanent bonus being offered and what will carry over. If the bonus is small and you still have real momentum, hold off. Rebirth resets a lot, so only pull when the trade is worth it.
2. Protect a restart source
Before rebirth, bank a Nest Egg (or whatever your fastest rebuilding source is) so you can hatch a fighter the minute you reset. Rebirths feel brutal when your egg economy has to start from basically zero.
3. Time it around the spike
The best moment to rebirth is when the offered bonus makes the next pre-spike grind meaningfully faster. If your current run still clears that stretch comfortably, keep pushing. If it's a wall, that's the signal.
4. Redeploy immediately
After reset, hatch with the saved egg, slot your best early fighter into the PIT, and reapply the feeder-first upgrade order from the beginner guide. Your income floor is higher now — the loop restarts faster.
5. Rinse, faster

6. What the reset actually costs you
Rebirth is only a fair trade if you know what you are giving up. The reset clears your current run — Cash, plot upgrades and the tower position you fought for — in exchange for a permanent multiplier that applies to every future run. That means the real question is never "am I stuck?" but "is the multiplier I am buying worth more than the run I am giving up?" Early on the answer is almost always yes, because your run is worth very little and the multiplier compounds forever. Later it flips, and the honest answer becomes "push the tower instead."
The tell is the rebuild time. If you can climb back to where you were in a fraction of the previous run, the rebirth paid off. If the rebuild is as long as the run you just threw away, the bonus was too small and you reset too early — which is why protecting a fast restart source before you press the button matters more than the button itself.
