Egg Tier List in Grow a Chicken Fighter

Welcome to the ultimate grow a chicken fighter egg tier list. Every confirmed egg type ranked by the value of its hatch pool — not by rarity label, but by the fighters you can actually pull and how hard the egg is to get. Devs don't publish official egg tiers, so each rank carries its source.

S-Tier — Worth the Cash

Eggs whose hatch pools justify every coin. If you have one of these and you need a fighter from its pool, open it.

Void Egg

Very rare

The highest-rarity pool observed in the game. Best-in-meta fighters live here, which makes it the top target for late-game rosters.

Rebirth and late tower sources

Full Void Egg guide →

Blazing Egg

Event only

The single strongest pool in the game — every hatch pulls high-rarity fighters including the 404 Chick and Reaper Rooster at community-reported rates. Its event-only source is the catch: it's the best pool you may never see.

Hot Event (central ring) — the 40KCCU code (expired Aug 23, 2026) previously granted one

Thunder Egg

Rare

The value pick of the entire game. A much stronger pool than a Nest Egg, far easier to get than Void, and the confirmed route to the highest-DPS breed in the game.

AA-Tier — Situational Opens

Strong pools with a narrower payoff. Open when a target fighter from the pool is in your build.

Cursed Egg

Mid-game

The Secret-rarity hunting ground — community reporting points to it (with the Blazing Egg) as a documented source for the 404 Chick. Strong when a Secret draw is your target, thinner otherwise.

Laid by the NPC Chick (community-reported)

Royal Egg

Rare

Premium pool documented in gameplay footage. Chases top-tier roster birds including the Celestial Radiant Fenghuang, but its sources are thinner than the Thunder Egg route.

Late-game sources, community-reported

Haunt Egg

Cosmic-leaning

A ghostly pool that runs to the Cosmic Reaper Rooster and the Doll Hen — the source of the community-favorite Voodoo skill. Elite when a top-meta carry is your target.

Regular egg economy (community-reported)

Fortune Egg

Very rare

Wealth-themed pool with Founder Rooster, Baron Cluck and the Secret Golden Goose. Narrow but high-ceiling — open when a fortune-pool bird is in your build.

Late-game / event sources (community-reported)

BB-Tier — Filler & Fusion Fuel

Fine for early birds and fusion bases, but never a priority once better pools are reachable.

Scratch Egg

Uncommon

A mid pool with a shot at better rares. Great while you build a starter roster, outclassed once Thunder is available.

Arena Egg

Rare

Combat pool with masked luchadors, sumo and striker breeds. Solid for fighting rosters, but every pool here is beatable by Thunder or better.

Event sources (community-reported)

Circuit Egg

Rare

Tech pool running to the Celestial Overclock Rooster. Worth opening when a tech fighter is your fusion target.

Taser Hen chain (community-reported)

Fang Egg

Rare

Beast pool with sharks, vipers and the Chameleon Hen. Fun variety with real fusion upside.

Spider Chicken chain (community-reported)

Ordnance Egg

Rare

Military pool with commandos, snipers and the Bulwark Knight. A niche fighting pool for themed builds.

Commando Rooster chain (community-reported)

Charm Egg

Uncommon

Cute-themed pool with cupcake, plush and boba fighters. Roster variety and fusion fuel, not a meta chase.

Bow Chick chain (community-reported)

Diner Egg

Uncommon

Food-themed pool with pizza, sushi and nugget fighters. Fusion fuel with a fun roster angle.

Pizza Rooster chain (community-reported)

Bloom Egg

Uncommon

The game's newest themed pool (community-reported). Low data so far — fine for variety, not a priority.

Ballerina Hen chain (community-reported)

Nest Egg

Common

The base pool of common fighters. It gets you started and feeds fusion, but there is no reason to spend on it late game.

How this egg tier list is ranked

Rank is pool strength × how easy the egg is to get. A strong pool you can't reach (Void early game) and a reachable pool with nothing you want (Nest late game) both rank lower than a strong, reachable pool. Sources come from the official Discord, gameplay footage and the Roblox game page — never invented odds. Last site update: August 30, 2026.

So which egg should I open?

Early game: open Nest and Scratch eggs to build a starter roster and fusion fuel. Mid game: switch to Thunder Eggs the moment you can reach them — the pool jump is the single best upgrade in the game. Late game: chase Void and Royal only when a specific best-in-meta bird from their pool fits your build.

Golden rule: read the pool before you spend. The best egg is whatever one lists the fighters you actually want — see the full egg list and what each type hatches.

Watch: which eggs are worth opening

This walkthrough shows current egg pools, what the Royal and Thunder eggs actually hatch, and when to keep vs. sell the results.

Egg Tier List FAQ

Is the Thunder Egg the best egg to buy?

For most players, yes — it is the value pick of the game: a much stronger pool than Nest, a fraction of the effort of Void or Royal, and the route to the highest-DPS breed confirmed so far.

Why is Nest Egg ranked so low?

Its pool only holds common fighters. It's perfect for the first ten minutes and as fusion fuel, but every other confirmed egg pulls a stronger pool.

Does egg rarity matter if I just want one chicken?

No. Read the egg's displayed pool for the specific fighter you want. A Thunder Egg pulling your target beats a Void Egg that doesn't.
