How to get it
Astro Chicken hatches from egg pools with a space theme — keep an eye out for Thunder-grade eggs in particular. It's a common-enough meet that most mid-run rosters pick one up without a dedicated hunt. Nailing duplicates feeds fusion to lock a strong trait.
How to use it
Slot it into the PIT as a background earner while it fights, and climb the TOWER with it through the early and mid floors.
Beyond early combat, Astro Chicken serves as an essential egg breeder in your coop: its space affinity provides high passive odds of laying Void Eggs, making it the key engine for players hunting the S-tier Cosmic Nebula Hen.
A fair ceiling
Astro Chicken is a staple, not a boss-killer. Once clears slow down, transition to higher-tier carries like Thunder Rooster or Nebula Hen, and keep Astro deployed for Void Egg production.

Astro Chicken's two jobs
Astro Chicken earns its A-tier slot twice over, and understanding both roles is what stops players replacing it too early. In combat it is the dependable mid-floor carry: enough consistent damage to clear early and mid tower floors while you hunt for an S-tier draw, and a solid PIT earner in the background. In the coop it is infrastructure — its space affinity gives it high passive odds of laying Void Eggs, which makes it the practical engine behind any attempt at the Cosmic tier.
That combination is unusual. Most chickens are either a fighter or a laying unit; Astro is both, which is why the correct play is usually to keep one deployed for egg production even after a stronger fighter arrives. When your clears slow down, transition your combat carry to a Mythic or Secret unit but leave an Astro in the roost — the Void Eggs it produces are the raw material for the endgame, and abandoning that pipeline to chase a slightly higher damage number is a step backwards.
Common questions
Is Astro Chicken worth maxing? Level it enough to carry early and mid floors, but do not pour an endgame budget into it — its ceiling is a staple, not a boss-killer.
Should I fuse my Astro Chicken away? Keep at least one deployed for Void Egg production; fuse only duplicates once your egg pipeline is covered.
