Why it matters
The Thunder Egg is the fusion route and hatch source behind the Mythic Thunder Rooster — the highest-DPS fighting breed we've confirmed. See the full egg list for how it compares to Royal and Void eggs.
Rarity & pool
- Rarity: Rare egg

- Mythic hatch rate: ~1%
- Best use: Rare fighters, fusion bases, and the Thunder Rooster chase
How to get Thunder Eggs
Two documented sources: the LETMECOOK code grants a free Thunder Egg, and high-floor TOWER rewards drop more. Claim the code first — it costs nothing and gives you the hunt a starting roll.

Manage the odds
At roughly 1% Mythic, most players open many Thunder Eggs before the Rooster appears. Every duplicate still feeds fusion — a strong trait on a Thunder Rooster duplicate is worth locking. Track your egg budget in the calculator so the hunt never stalls your feeders.
Common questions
Is Thunder Egg better than Royal or Void? It's the most achievable high-value pool. Royal and Void pull from top-tier pools too but have harder sources — see the egg list.

Thunder Egg vs the other rare pools
The Thunder Egg is best understood as the rare pool you can actually sustain. Void and Royal eggs pull from stronger pools, but their sources are gated behind endgame progression, so for most of a run they are aspirations rather than farms. The Thunder Egg, by contrast, has a free entry point and repeatable tower drops, which means you can keep rolling it indefinitely while your economy matures. That is what makes it the sensible chase: not because it is the best pool, but because it is the best pool you can actually keep opening.
Getting the most out of the chase
Treat the Thunder Egg like a long-running project rather than a single gamble. Keep a steady supply coming, spend duplicate hatches on fusion rather than discarding them, and lock the first good trait you land so later rolls cannot erase it. The Mythic Rooster is the jackpot, but the pool is valuable the whole way there — every strong elemental duplicate is either a donor or a better base, so the grind never comes back empty.
