Why it matters
The Skycrest Rooster dominates the Ascension Egg pool at 55% — you will hatch it constantly. Community coverage flags two things: it's B tier for now, and mutations roll separately from the chicken roll — so even a common Skycrest can hatch mutated, and a mutated Skycrest could be far more valuable than a normal version.
Rarity & stats profile
- Rarity: Common (Update 2 pool)
- Tier: B — for now
- Source: Ascension Egg only
- Hatch rate: 55% — the pool's most common result
- Key mechanic: Separate mutation roll — a mutated Skycrest can outvalue a normal one
Exact base stats are not yet published. What is documented: it comes from a difficult end-game egg, ranks B tier, and will probably become your most replaceable result if you keep opening Ascension Eggs.
How to get Skycrest Rooster

- Halo Hen — 27%
- Skycrest Rooster — 55% (you are here)

How to use Skycrest Rooster
- Read the mutation roll. The mutation is determined separately from the chicken roll — inspect every Skycrest hatch for a mutation before treating it as filler.
- Don't auto-replace. Useful, but not a proven fighter replacement — compare before swapping out maxed units.
- Treat most as fusion fuel. With continuous Ascension hatching, Skycrest will probably become your most replaceable result — duplicates feed fusion.
Common questions
Is Skycrest Rooster worth keeping? Only if it hatches with a mutation. The community protection list is headed by Eclipse, Seraph and Oracle — a normal Skycrest is the replaceable end of the pool.
How do mutations work on the Ascension Egg? The mutation roll happens separately from the chicken roll — so a common Skycrest can still hatch with a mutation, and that mutated version can be far more valuable than the normal one.

What to do with Skycrest duplicates
Because Skycrest Rooster will keep arriving, the real question is not whether it is good but how to spend the copies. Inspect each one for a mutation first — the mutation roll is separate, so a common Skycrest can still be the valuable result of a hatch. A mutated copy is worth holding and testing; an unmutated one is fusion fuel. Feeding duplicates into your carry is the most efficient use of a 55% pull, and it stops your roster filling up with replaceable birds you will never field.
